NEX, a contraction of nexus (Latin, n.); meaning a connection or series of connections linking two or more things.
To stop infections before they spread—through intelligent, real-time surveillance built for hospitals, globally.
Lead with empathy, build with excellence, and constantly push for innovation.
We design with people in mind. Whether it's frontline clinicians, IPC teams, or patients, they shape our designs and innovations. We build through close collaboration, listening first, and solving practical needs.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards. From scientific rigour to system reliability, we take pride in delivering solutions that are trusted, validated, and built to perform in critical environments.
We challenge the status quo. We push the boundaries of technology to solve urgent problems in infection prevention and control—delivering tools that are intelligent, practical, and future-ready.
We started NEX because we were tired of watching patients enter hospitals—only to leave with infections they never came in with.
Too many of these infections are preventable. Too many are now resistant to our best antibiotics. And too often, the teams trying to stop them are working without the correct information to hand when they can have the most significant impact.
NEX was built to give infection prevention teams what they actually need: real-time visibility, smart alerts, and the ability to predict how and where infections will appear next.
This isn’t just about building another software system. It’s about creating tools that protect patients, support those who care for them, and change how hospitals fight infection.
